Filigree Ingrid is a third of the team that runs GesMa. Usually the half that rants at people. She specializes in compulsive world-building and drawing.
Ingrid lives in Montana and works in a comic shop whenever she is desperate for cash (always). She can talk about her two dogs, Cyndar and Rogue, for hours, and her two cats, Shasta and Pontoufle, for days. She likes anime, but she likes manga and novels better. They are more portable. She also has a compulsive knitting habit, which is fed only by delicious, delicious yarn.
Shimmy is the bottom third of the GesMa team, which is to say that Ingrid gets all the shiny ideas and Shimmy just nods and smiles and goes to get the whip. Her specialties include obsessive culture development, photo manips and slashing the GesMa cast Just Because She Can.
Shimmy is almost pocket-sized and is easily misplaced, but was last sighted on the Canadian prairies. To remedy this, she dresses in a highly conspicuous Japanese fashion called lolita. She is easily recognized, as her skirts are always coated with a light dusting of animal hair from her cat, Latte, and greyhound, Fancy. These days she's more likely to get excited over an episode of Grey's Anatomy than she is about anime, but she can be convinced to sit still for certain ones. Shimmy enjoys writing and reading and compulsive LiveJournal trolling. If Shimmy were a tree, she would like to be an elm.
Sage crawled forth from the ink-black abyss to serve as the last third of the GesMa team. She is an assistant idea-monkey, and also helps with beta-ing, writing articles, and making people cry with Vay posts.
Sage lives in Pennsylvania, even though she is a Jersey Girl at heart and will shank you for so little as your lunch money. Her hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music and making music mixes, going biking, and watching about anything that people recommend to her. She has an unhealthy obsession with Yu-Gi-Oh!, Wawa hoagies, and fictional men with emotional problems. She also aspires to be a Pokemon Master, though she'd be okay with having a full-time job too. When asked if she prefers ninjas or pirates, she winks, tips her hat, and answers "cowboys, pard".
